Required Skills: •Plan, create, and expedite purchase orders as required. •Maintain adequate stock levels while assisting the company in achieving inventory goals. •Problem-solve and manage supply information relating to purchasing and receiving; must develop a good working knowledge of the ERP system. •Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements. •Manage inventory, levels, schedules, and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules. •Review work-in-process material reviews from production floor. •Communicate with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on materials status and production planning issues. •Verify on-hand against ERP and lead time. Qualifications: •High School diploma or equivalent. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Strong systems/process orientation with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. •Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and coworkers. •Excellent project management and follow-up skills. •Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. •Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling •Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others. •Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
