Required Skills: •Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction projects to aid in bidding and budgeting processes. •Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and timelines. •Perform detailed analysis of project designs and specifications to determine overall project costs. •Leverage expertise in Material Take Off (MTO) to accurately calculate the quantity of materials needed for each project. •Conduct regular cost analysis and value engineering exercises to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. •Participate in the negotiation process with contractors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms. •Continually monitor industry trends and prices to ensure the company is getting the best prices on supplies and services. •Prepare and present detailed reports and project estimates to stakeholders, including potential clients, project managers, and senior leadership. Qualifications: •A minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role. •Proven experience in project bidding, budgeting, value engineering, Material Take Off (MTO), negotiation, and cost analysis. •Strong mathematical and IT abilities with a keen eye for detail. •Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. •Sound knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. •Proficiency in industry-specific software and MS Office Suite. •Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. •Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions. •Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. •Professional certification in construction estimating or a related field is a plus.
