This experience may occur within the 3-year related experience requirement. Required Skills: •Lead and oversee driving engagement and fundraising across Chicago with an impact of $5 million. •Prospect and secure local corporate sponsorships and individual donations. •Guide and direct assigned staff to reach goals. •Identify, recruit and manage executive volunteer leadership including implementing a year-round cultivation plan. •Develop profiles on the top businesses within the Chicago market with a documented plan to secure their involvement. •Implement event logistics based on national best practices. •Work closely with a Communications Director to develop and manage a promotion/communications plan for the campaign. Qualifications: •University/College degree or equivalent experience. •Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including large and small group presentations, group facilitation, and training. Skill in written communications to include clear and concise narrative reports, evaluations, and similar narrative pieces. •Demonstrated capacity to read, comprehend and analyze number goals, as well as fundraising reports. Skill in use of spreadsheet/database analysis. •Demonstrated capacity to do daily local travel up to 70%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis. •Demonstrated capacity to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
