Required Skills: •Job Duties & Responsibilities - Essential Job Functions may include, but are not limited to, the following •Actively facilitate and support engineering, integration, implementation, and sustainment of FAA systems and enterprise technology platforms. •Assist with developing system architectures, technical designs, engineering documentation, diagrams, and implementation plans. •Analyze system requirements and assist in translating mission and business needs into technical requirements. •Support requirements management, traceability, configuration management, and technical baseline development. •Assist senior engineers with the evaluation and integration of hardware, software, network, cloud, and security technologies. •Participate in system integration, testing, validation, verification, and troubleshooting activities. •Investigate system performance, availability, connectivity, and configuration issues and assist with root-cause analysis. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. •Understanding systems engineering concepts and the system development lifecycle. •Demonstrated capacity to create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and reports. •Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain the appropriate FAA/government security clearance or suitability determination, as required. •Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal. •Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting of equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds may be required during installations. •Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform tasks requiring precision. Sitting/Standing: Both prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be required for troubleshooting and attending to system issues. Background check: Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
