This role will be supporting the Florida Panhandle Region. •Serve as the site safety manager ensuring all personnel and equipment onsite are safe and that the site/s comply with environmental regulations and required regulatory permits. •Spend significant time in the field (outside), conducting routine preventive maintenance activities on solar panels, battery storage systems, and associated equipment. •Troubleshoot and undertake corrective maintenance to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring maximum system uptime and efficiency.. •Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow established procedures for inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements. •Utilize monitoring software and tools to regularly monitor and analyze system performance, identifying deviations and inefficiencies. •Generate performance reports and maintain accurate records of system performance, including energy production, equipment status, and maintenance activities. •Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders regarding work progress, challenges, and recommendations. Qualifications: •Highly motivated with a strong bias for action and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred. •Previous PV solar and battery experience highly desired. •Employees in this entry-level role performs a variety of routine tasks, which provide experience and familiarity with Engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs after which may independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures while using judgment when making adaptations and modifications. •Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program •Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) •NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
