Hiring: Associate Mechanical Engineer - ATL Company: AMETEK Location: Suwanee, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 13:35:30 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : AWS, Assembly, Microsoft Office, Product Development Lifecycle, Project Management, Regulatory Compliance About the job Experience: •1-2 years in machine design in an industrial/manufacturing environment •2 years in machine design in an industrial/manufacturing environment Required Skills: •Lead the design, development, and execution of mechanical product development projects from concept through implementation. •Manage project schedules, cost estimates, engineering analysis, and technical documentation. •Design and specify machine elements used in precision motion systems, including bearings, gearboxes, encoders, servomotors, and related components. •Develop and integrate positioning systems and optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, and performance. •Perform engineering analyses including strength of materials, structural, static, dynamic, and thermal evaluations. •Design and evaluate aluminum and steel weldments while ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. •Support product safety certification efforts, including regulatory compliance and CE marking activities as applicable. •Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges throughout the product development lifecycle.
