Required Skills: •Provides technical experience needed to assist in studying the basic principles of plant and animal life. •Execute formulation and stability studies, including coordination of analytical sample generation and testing, under direction of the federal task leader. •Assists with performing basic laboratory experiments and procedures- Independently generate and analyze samples using both standard and advanced study specific analytical methods. •Coordinate and execute formulation development studies for vaccine and biotherapeutic characterization under direction of the federal task leader. •Coordinate external service and execute routine maintenance and troubleshooting for one or more pieces of laboratory instrumentation. Prepares, organizes and maintains various lab samples, supplies, and equipment. •Independently analyze and collate analytical data in collaboration with a project development team. •Present data in small group and department settings. •Learns new laboratory techniques and procedures Qualifications: •M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is required. •Applied hands-on capability in one or more of the following areas: protein/ vaccine formulation, protein/vaccine stability, biophysical characterization, bioanalytical development. •Applied hands-on capability in one or more of the following techniques: UV-visible, fluorescence, Circular Dichroism and/or IR spectroscopy; Differential Scanning Calorimetry; Particle characterization (light scattering, HIAC and/or MFI). •Knowledge of the structural properties of proteins •When you apply, please know a Kelly Government Solutions Recruiter will review your resume and will contact you directly, if your skills and experience match the requirements of this position; a full job description can be made available at that time. •Due to the high volume of inquiries, we regret that we cannot accept phone calls.
