Required Skills: •Interpret and process customer order information for drawing creation. •Prepare accurate drawings, sketches, and related documents for internal use and production. •Partner cross-functionally with engineers, supervisors, and other departments to clarify specifications. •Monitor and manage order backlog, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. •Assist in revising standard designs and drafting procedures for efficiency. •Comply with safety, attendance, and company policies. Qualifications: •High school diploma with 1+ year of relevant experience or education. •Proficiency in AutoCAD (2019 or newer) and 3D modeling •Operational familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. •Strong math and problem-solving skills (including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry). •Demonstrated capacity to read technical drawings and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. •Associate’s Degree in Drafting. •Operational familiarity with Valmont products and manufacturing processes. •Reports to Division Drafting Supervisor. •Must maintain a professional, team-oriented approach and meet productivity and accuracy goals.
