Required Skills: •Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and agreements related to real estate, employment, governance, litigation, and finance transactions. •Conduct legal due diligence on potential acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. •Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., finance, asset management, development, investment, litigation, and operations) to identify and mitigate legal risks. •Support corporate governance activities, including preparing materials for board meetings and managing corporate records. •Assist with litigation management and interface with outside counsel, as necessary. •Assist the General Counsel in all facets of the company’s legal needs. Qualifications: •Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. •Proven experience with transactional work and contract negotiation, especially in the real estate and finance sectors. •In-depth knowledge of real estate and securities laws, including regulatory compliance. •Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. •High ethical standards, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. •Operational familiarity with securities law, including private placements. •Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing priorities. •Availability to work in office full-time.
