Required Skills: •Manages day to day category supplier relations and seeks out growth or revision opportunities within supply base. •Partner with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, quality) to capture commodity requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality - partner with regional PPM teams to efficiently transition suppliers as needed •Assess Opportunity for commodity including spend segmentation, commodity maturity, cost drivers, and supply market analysis •Accountable for execution of sourcing projects including continuous improvement, consolidation, etc. •Conduct or support negotiations and supplier selection- accountable for contract lifecycle management and compliance •Lead and oversee delivering commodity productivity through price negotiations, supporting value analysis/ value engineering projects (VA/VE or i2V) and other continuous improvement projects. •Support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)and quarterly supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers within commodity. •Support commodity continuity of supply - engage with plants to help local teams efficiently resolve escalated issues. Qualifications: •This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed. •Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. •Club Car is a diverse and inclusive environment.
