Whether you're improving processes, supporting operations, solving technical challenges, or driving business performance, your contributions help keep aircraft flying safely around the world. •Design, implement, and sustain automation solutions that improve throughput, equipment uptime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across critical aerospace manufacturing processes, including coating, precision grinding, EDM, and inspection operations. •Actively facilitate and support qualification, automation, and stabilization of new products, transferred work, and advanced manufacturing equipment. •Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, robotics, machine controls, vision systems, sensors, motion control systems, and operator interfaces. •Integrate manufacturing equipment with data acquisition systems, MES platforms, and digital manufacturing technologies to enable real-time process monitoring and performance analysis. •Enhance automated and in-process inspection capabilities to improve quality, reduce rework, and increase first-pass yield. •Lead cross-functional automation projects in partnership with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and external equipment suppliers. Qualifications: •Knowledge of MES systems, digital manufacturing technologies, and manufacturing data analytics. •Operational familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, 8D problem solving, 5-Why methodologies, or continuous improvement practices. •Exposure to Industry 4.0, industrial automation networks, machine connectivity, AI-enabled manufacturing, or digital-thread initiatives. •Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures. •Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving throughout production areas. •Demonstrated capacity to perform hands-on troubleshooting and equipment inspections in an active manufacturing environment. •Demonstrated capacity to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds. •Demonstrated capacity to work around automated equipment, robots, CNC machines, and industrial systems while following established safety procedures. •Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety requirements. •This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
