Responsibilities include planning, coordination, and leadership to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance goals are met. •Develop and implement plans and strategies for expanding production capabilities and maximizing efficiencies. •Hire, develop, and retain manufacturing engineers. •Supervise, coach, and remove barriers for manufacturing engineers. •Develop and implement manufacturing engineering plans and schedules including process flows, test and inspection points, assembly aids, use of automated test equipment, training needs and requirements. •Support design engineering during the design / development process to ensure that the design represents a cost-effective solution in terms of reliability, producibility, and supportability and meets the performance requirements over the life of the product. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance. •IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 trained/certified. Qualifications: •Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team. •Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Access). •Strong knowledge and skills within manufacturing and an understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
