Hiring: Assistant VDC Manager Company: Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC Location: Atlanta, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 15:03:07 Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, Render About the job Required Skills: •Assist with the implementation of the BIM process on specific projects throughout preconstruction and construction •Assist in the development and execution Project Specific VDC Service Plans and BIM Execution Plans •Develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models for specific projects for use during preconstruction and construction •Analyze models provided by Architects and Design Engineers & adjust for internal use in Estimating and Construction Operations •Participate in VDC Team meetings & national conferences •Participate in the progression of VDC Department initiatives working to develop and implement new technology and associated workflows. •Perform and Document Quantity take-off reports •Generate 3D/4D Site logistics plans Qualifications: •Bachelor degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction •Proficiency in understanding construction elements through 2D plans and 3D models •Proficiency with Autodesk Revit Suite, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp is required •Strong written and verbal communications skills •Demonstrated capacity to listen, remain humble, collaborate, and clearly communicate with teams •Demonstrated capacity to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals •Demonstrated capacity to proactively take on additional responsibilities as needed •Demonstrated capacity to work well as a part of a team and independently •Demonstrated capacity to remain flexible and enjoy learning new software on regular basis •Willingness to travel and/or relocate, as both could be required.
