Hiring: Assistant Project Manager Company: Effy Jewelry Location: New York City Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 15:02:17 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Asana, Project Management About the job Experience: •3 years of hands-on project management experience, owning projects from concept through completion Required Skills: •Directs the execution of all incoming Maintenance and construction projects, partnering closely with the Operations Integrations Manager, external contractors, and Cruise Line partners. •Serves as the primary point of contact for all FF&E vendors, owning vendor relationships and procurement for lighting, carpets, signage, and loose furniture. •Manages all project details within Asana on behalf of the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, ensuring information is accurate and current ahead of team briefings. •Plans and organizes upcoming projects up to 12 months in advance, in partnership with the Senior Project Manager and Senior Ops Integrations Manager. •Owns and maintains owner-supplied item costs within each project's budget tracker, ensuring accuracy and accountability across all active projects. •Drives the timely execution of tasks and deliverables using Asana, holding stakeholders accountable to project timelines. •Exercises independent judgment in managing additional responsibilities as they arise, in support of the Store Design + Construction team's broader goals. Qualifications: •1–3 years of hands-on project management experience, owning projects from concept through completion •Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across internal departments and external vendors •Demonstrated capacity to manage several concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment •Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to work •Strong problem-solving instincts and sound independent judgment •Resourceful in finding answers independently, while knowing when to ask the right questions •Genuine curiosity about cruise construction •Prior construction management or on-site construction experience is a strong plus •Operational familiarity with the cruise industry is a plus •Prior experience using Asana or a similar project management platform is a plus Compensation: •$70,000 - $80,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
