Hiring: Assistant Project Manager Company: Forgen Location: Hubbard, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:17:47 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office About the job Required Skills: •Under the direction of the Division Lead, manage each project assigned according to Forgen corporate philosophy of safe, quality production while securing the most favorable economic outcome for Forgen. •Lead, Manage and be Accountable for their direct reports. •Lead and oversee driving a safety culture which promotes Incident and Injury Free Performance. •Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project. •Prepare complete estimates for project specific change order work with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, contracting and the like. •Assist with supervision of the total construction effort to ensure project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives and subcontractors. •Plan, coordinate, and support onsite functions. •Supervise employees and other subcontractors as required by the contract. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Candidates should have a minimum of five to ten years of applicable experience in the construction industry or •In lieu of a degree, candidates must possess equivalent applicable experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of eight years of experience required. •Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and accounting/cost systems. •Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate teams; strong understanding of subordinate roles and responsibilities. •Excellent written/oral communication, strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail. •Highly organized, proactive, flexible, customer-focused, and committed to high standards and continuous improvement. •Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business. •Past experience in a construction environment which demands outstanding safety performance a plus. •The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
