Hiring: Assistant Director Human Resources FS9860 Company: Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City Location: Oklahoma City, OK Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 10:23:05 About the job Experience: •Minimum of four years experience in a Human Resources department, with specific experience in onboarding, recruitment, payroll processing, and/or employee relations. •Must be adaptable to performing under moderate levels of stress, imposed by frequent deadlines, peak workloads, and public/student contact. •Demonstrated knowledge of office technologies including but not limited to office computers, fax machines, scanners, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). •Accurate typing/data entry skills and demonstrated ability to work with attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaborate within a team environment. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar field and/or related experience or certifications. •Master’s Degree in Human Resources or similar field. •Duties require extended periods of sitting, talking, and listening. •Duties require extensive use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment. •Requires possible lifting of up to 25 lbs. (If an object weighs more than 45 lbs., OSU-Oklahoma City requires this to be a two-person lift). •Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. •High degree of integrity; ability to work in a sensitive, highly confidential, and professional environment. •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly, and effectively, both verbally and in writing to exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately with all students, faculty, staff and community partners.
