Required Skills: •Curatorial Projects: The Assistant Curator is responsible for the conceptualization, development, and implementation of Museum exhibitions, projects, and commissions in alignment with the ICA’s mission and the curatorial department’s long-term goals conducting research, producing checklists, adhering to budgets and timelines. •Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: •BA in art history, visual culture, humanities, or a related field along with 1-2 years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required; MA or equivalent experience preferred. •The Assistant curator must be a generous, thoughtful, and clear communicator with a strong background in curatorial work, exhibition planning, and an ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain clear communication across teams. •Operational familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint/Keynote, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Suite, Google Drive, project management software, and Outlook will be beneficial.
