Required Skills: •This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, has a strong eye for color, and is interested in building their knowledge and career in color development and the apparel industry. •Actively facilitate and support Fabric Sourcing Manager in managing color development and approvals from initial color development through bulk fabric. •Maintain and monitor seasonal color calendars, timelines, milestones, and key deadlines. •Track assigned colors, color submissions, approvals, revisions, and outstanding items to ensure projects adhere to company deadlines. •Maintain accurate and up-to-date color information, development status, and documentation in spreadsheets, and applicable systems. •Coordinate the receipt, organization, and tracking of lab dips, strike-offs, color submissions, trim submissions, and other materials. •Track color submissions, comments, revisions, approvals, and outstanding requests. •Communicate and follow up with mills, vendors, agents, and overseas partners regarding color submissions, standards, comments, revisions, approvals, and deadlines as directed by the Fabric and Trim Sourcing Manager. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile Design, Merchandising, or a related field preferred. •Strong eye for color and strong interest in color development, textiles, fashion, and the apparel industry. •Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. •Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects, submissions, priorities, and deadlines. •Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, mills, and overseas partners. •Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach. •Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. •Willingness to learn and take on increased responsibility within the color function.
