Required Skills: •We are seeking an Assistant Distribution Manager to join our team! •Assist in coordinating warehouse personnel scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels for efficient receiving and distribution of materials. •Exercise supervisory authority including hiring, training, performance evaluations, merit increases, promotions, career development, and terminations. •Ensure customer orders are received, processed, and distributed in a timely manner to maximize service and productivity. •Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders against documentation and maintain strong inventory control processes. •Oversee 13 route delivery fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance scheduling, driver safety training coordination, and regulatory compliance management. •Prepare and generate warehouse productivity reports and assist management in budgeting and meeting cost targets. •Actively facilitate and support development, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse management and purchasing systems. Qualifications: •Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, including local delivery and hazmat compliance. •Forklift experience or prior forklift certification. •Proficiency with computers and warehouse software systems. •Strong commitment to safety, with demonstrated experience working within advanced safety programs. •Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. •Demonstrated capacity to coach, develop, and lead warehouse personnel in a fast paced environment. •Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Logistics, Management, or a related field. •Walking surfaces may include concrete and metal grating. •The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
