Required Skills: •Responsible for the enforcement and protection of all company interests and assets. Company assets are defined as merchandise, money, technical equipment, supplies, fixtures, store dwellings, our company personnel and our customers. •All other duties as assigned by the supervisor. •AP Associate training, coaching and supervision. Ensuring APA compliance and education (AP Awareness). •Conducting of Audits / maintaining of proper records. Complete required audits and inspections and provide accurate documentation of results. •Investigation and follow up. Supports APM in all manner of investigations both external and internal. •Conduct routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protection of assets. Conduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to local management. •Ensure physical security by controlling access of associates and visitors. •Inclusion in damage meeting with APM and OPS Director. Qualifications: •8 hr. Pre Assignment and 16 hr. OTJ certificates / Security License (mandatory in NYC only) •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Problem solving and Decision-making skills •Demonstrated capacity to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle merchandise, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above. •Demonstrated capacity to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job •Demonstrated capacity to lift between 0-25lbs. without assistance •Regular in-person work at a Company-designated work location is an essential function of this position •The range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00.
