Hiring: Asset Protection Lead Company: Carhartt Location: Dearborn, MI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:54:27 Employment Type: Contract / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •5+ years’ experience in multi-unit loss prevention or security management. •Demonstrated experience in asset protection program building, teaching, training, and implementation. •Demonstrated capacity to receive and manage confidential/sensitive information with the highest level of integrity. •Natural disposition to be a self-starter, problem solver, and work with minimal supervision. •Desire to interact with and motivate store teams on the topics of store security, asset protection, and safety. Required Skills: •This position will focus on overall store safety and security for our associates and consumers to include loss prevention investigations, security technology support and design, shrink reduction, security audits, and workplace violence prevention training. •We serve and protect all hardworking people by building durable products •We remain dedicated to upholding these principles in every decision we make and every product we create. •Develop comprehensive security and asset protection policies and procedures that support the overall goal of reducing risk to our associates and consumers. •Oversee and maintain relationships and contracts with vendors related to store security technology and contract guard forces. •Establishes strong working relationships with store associates and leaders to support all asset protection programs to achieve our overall business objectives. •Organize, develop, and lead security and asset protection training for store teams. •Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement through drills, reviews, or assessments. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field required and/or equivalent years of related experience. •Wicklander-Zulawski and/or Reid Technique certifications preferred or willing to obtain. •Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months. •Working hours will vary based on case needs. Weekends may be required to support investigations. •National travel required to retail stores and occasionally other Carhartt locations- approximately 30%. This could occur with short notice. •Extended periods of time standing may be required. •This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events. •Carhartt is a tobacco free workplace.
