Required Skills: •Perform electro-mechanical assembly and inner chassis wiring using calibrated and non-calibrated hand tools in accordance with work instructions and engineering requirements. •Assemble simple to complex cable and harness assemblies as required by production needs. •Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly blueprints, work orders, and engineering BOMs to ensure accurate assembly and hardware installation. •Identify hardware by description and physical characteristics and understand standard hardware installation sequences. •Select and properly use the appropriate hand tools and equipment needed for each assembly operation. •Move, lift, or manipulate parts and assemblies weighing up to 35 pounds. •Maintain compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and established manufacturing procedures. •Accurately record time charged to jobs performed. Qualifications: •Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. •Strong ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints, engineering drawings, and written work instructions. •Solid functional working knowledge of cable harness and electro-mechanical assembly processes. •Understanding of hardware requirements, identification, and installation practices. •Strong attention to detail, quality, and workmanship. •4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
