Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job. •Obtains health histories by performing complete physical examinations and psychosocial assessments, interprets findings from the examinations, contributing to the problem list and a plan of care. •Performs diagnostic procedures which may include skin biopsies. •Provides diagnostic and pharmacologic management of the disease process and treatment side effects through ongoing assessment, intervention and education in collaboration with the physician in the office and hospital settings. •Works within the guidelines established in the policy manual related to Nursing Protocol, Chemotherapy Guidelines, Admixture policies and Quality Assessment/Quality of Care. •Integrates an individualized health maintenance program for clientele in the community and office •Utilizes resources and problem solves when system barriers occur as the client repeatedly moves through acute, ambulatory, and home care settings. •Provides knowledge in area of clinical expertise throughout the following phases of the illness trajectory: prevention, detection, diagnosis, acute care, terminal care/home care, rehabilitation, and survivorship to members of the multidisciplinary team involved in the assessment and management of individuals/families with cancer. Qualifications: •A minimum of a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program •Three (3) years’ experience in oncology nursing preferred or experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment •Current Washington state RN and nurse practitioner licenses current CPR certification previous experience as oncology nurse practitioner or in oncology in an advanced practice role preferred •Successfully completed an accredited Physician Assistant program and passed NCCPA •Minimum 3 yrs as PA, with consideration of experience as an RN in Oncology, current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state previous experience in oncology preferred •3 yrs as PA, with consideration of experience as an RN in Oncology, current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state previous experience in oncology preferred Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
