Required Skills: •Hill International is seeking an Architectural Inspector in Houston, Texas •Conduct daily observations of construction work for compliance with approved contract drawings, specifications, Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders, and approved submittals and shop drawings. •Issue Observation Reports noting conditions of non-compliance, with proper references to detailed drawings and specifications sections. Project portfolio: 1 project, average value $10M-$50M. •Attend early morning, evening, or after-hours installations (e.g., concrete pours) requiring owner representation; flexible hours are required for construction observations. •Provide quality control and inspection expertise in the area of architectural and structural systems. •Track and follow up on Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) on Project Work Space (PWS) or Unifier. •Prepare reports of inspections on PWS and Unifier. •Maintain and organize on-site project documentation, including inspection and test reports, RFIs, Architect’s Supplemental Instructions (ASIs), and project change control documents on PWS or Unifier. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, construction sciences, or other construction-related field. •ICC Certified (by discipline e.g., plumber, electrical) is suggested. •Knowledge of architectural details, partition ratings, finishes, and doors. •Hill is a GISI Consulting Group company, part of the Global Infrastructure Solutions, Inc.
