Hiring: Applications Testing Coordinator Company: ICON Location: Austin, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 10:34:11 Target Skills & Keywords : Confluence, Jira About the job Experience: •Operational familiarity with concrete quality-control sampling (cylinders, slump, flow) and material or specimen traceability. •Operational familiarity with 3D printing, rapid fabrication, or construction methods. •Procurement or vendor-coordination experience, especially with structural steel or specialty construction supplies. •Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery - such as forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts, and related material-handling equipment - to safely transport, maneuver, load, and position heavy test specimens, raw materials, and machinery components across the test site. Required Skills: •Coordinate test execution across the project and technology teams •. Receive and vet incoming test requests to ensure they are complete and constructible. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align on direction, and secure formal approval from the Testing organization before moving to scheduling and resource allocation. •Schedule and sequence test prints •. Drive tactical print scheduling and sequencing across Vulcan and Titan printers against print-window, crew, and material availability; coordinate test starts; and maintain the daily picture of what is running where and what is holding each test up. •Manage materials-list requests, procurement, follow-up, and inventory tracking •. Procure and track the materials needed for each test article and its consumables, and drive procurement of special items - structural steel, reinforcement, and other supplies - so materials are on hand before a test consumes a print window. •. Ensure operational excellence outside of direct print execution, including coordinating with test operations vendors, managing supply chain streams, tracking specimen and site cleanup, and scheduling heavy equipment or site services. •Facilitate and confirm print readiness Qualifications: •: Three or more years of coordination, planning, logistics, or technical-operations experience in a manufacturing, construction, fabrication, testing, or field-operations environment. •: Demonstrated experience in reading and following construction or product drawings and specifications. •Coordination. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent activities and stakeholders while keeping detailed, accurate records. •: Comfort working with tools to execute non-print activities, providing the necessary leadership and construction-task experience on the slab. •: Proficiency with ticketing and documentation software (for example, Jira, Confluence, or Procore), standard productivity tool, and comfort working with custom ICON software. Comfort organizing data and building spreadsheets or dashboards. •: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear documentation, schedules, and status reporting. •: Comfort working on an active test or production floor and coordinating hands-on activities involving materials, specimens, lifting, and shipping. •: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or relevant technical training is welcomed. ICON favors demonstrated capability over credential accumulation. •Demonstrated capacity to lift 50 pounds unassisted. •Comfortable working in both shop and field conditions, including extreme environments (heat over 100°F, cold or freezing temperatures, sun, rain, mud, dust, and areas with limited infrastructure).
