Performs all other duties as assigned. •Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the Tech I or Tech II level. Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. •BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date •One (1) year experience working as Anesthesia Technician role or working in Anesthesia Department (for Tech I) •A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an anesthesia technician and demonstrated competency in all areas of expertise required to be an anesthesia technician by the ASATT. (For Tech II) •Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and principles of anesthesia technology. •Independent judgment skills is required for rapid response to the quickly changing circumstances in the patient care environment. •Proficient in the application, acquisition, preparation, and troubleshooting of various types of equipment required for the delivery of anesthesia care. •Completion of a anesthesia program from an accredited institution. •Certified Anesthesia Technician issued by ASATT (Cer. A.T.) •Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on business needs.
