Required Skills: •Assist with development of broker consultant team members. Includes onboarding, mentoring, and providing feedback on performance. •Serve as team resource for technical expertise on industry and process. •Assist with the development of team standards and processes. •Escalate issues with carriers for self and on behalf of Level 1 and 2 broker consultant team members. •Approve submissions within commission database. •Interface directly with VIP Brokers determined by value of business and level of difficulty. Includes frequent contact and meetings with brokers. •Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and vendors. •Resolve day-to-day service issues for brokers and vendors. Assist with claims and billing problems. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree preferred. •Must hold a Life & Health license or obtain within three months from date of hire. •Operational familiarity with products, services, competitive offerings, market needs, industry trends, and claims procedures. •Understanding of alternate funding arrangements. Includes full and partially insured, minimum premium, and self-insured. •Strong analytical skills. Ability to use and interpret benefit related facts and figures. •Demonstrated capacity to creatively and proactively problem-solve. •Strong organizational skills. Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines. •Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Includes ability to maintain relationships with brokers and carriers. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and in a busy, team environment. •Solid functional working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
