With a wide range of services and proactive approaches to care, Concentra colleagues provide exceptional service to employers and exceptional care to their employees. •5 years of payroll experience to include payroll tax analysis, audit and compliance experience •At least 5 years of payroll experience to include payroll tax analysis, audit and compliance experience Required Skills: •Ensure data accuracy through regular audits, reconciliations, and exception reporting fordepartment. •Investigate discrepancies by partnering with team members and leadership to resolveissues. •Monitor recurring error trends and recommend corrective actions. •Maintain documentation support for internal controls and audit requirements. •Ensure payroll and payroll tax processes follow federal, state and local regulations. •Support SOX and internal/external audit requests. •Prepare, validate and respond to requests for data including compliance, legal, and operations reporting. •Serve as a subject-matter resource for internal and external business partners regarding report data requests. Qualifications: •Degree must be from an accredited college or university •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice-versa •Certifications and/or Licenses: FPC or CPP certification preferred but not required •Customarily has at least 5 years of payroll experience to include payroll tax analysis, audit and compliance experience •Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility •Demonstrated capacity to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions •Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism •The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies •Knowledge of payroll regulations, multi-state payroll and payroll tax principles •Excellent attention to detail, communication, organization, analytics, problem-solving and timemanagement skills.
