Required Skills: •Prepare monthly summary of actual financial performance against plan and current estimate, including earnings, capital spending and cash flow. •Own long-term forecast and financial model to inform strategic planning and provide insights to management •Exposure to analytic and forecasting methodologies for trend analysis •Participation in the creation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages •Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes •Lead and contribute to business case development of new strategic initiatives by driving collaboration between groups •Provide analytical decision support for new contract negotiations and existing contract renewals •Actively facilitate and support month-end close process with variance analysis and forecasting updates Qualifications: •Minimum experience and education required of the position •Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required Of The Position •Knowledge of utility industry and familiarity with general and Entergy financial, strategic and accounting processes. •Firm understanding of accrual accounting practices. •Superior analytical, critical thinking and quantitative skills. •Drive for results & high sense of urgency. •Operational familiarity with PowerBI and automation a plus. •Highly proficient in advanced Excel with strong attention to detail required. •Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
