Hiring: Analyst-Compliance Company: American Express Location: Sandy, UT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 02:13:23 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Compliance, Express, Make, TestNG About the job Required Skills: •How will you make an impact in this role? •Support monitoring of financial crimes-related IREs by tracking key dates, milestones, required actions, and outstanding information and following up with stakeholders to keep activities on track. •Request, collect, and organize documentation and other supporting evidence from stakeholders, follow up on incomplete or outstanding requests, and raise delays or concerns to the Manager as appropriate. •Maintain complete and accurate IRE information and documentation in applicable systems of record, perform checks for completeness and accuracy, and work with stakeholders to correct missing or inconsistent information. •Prepare and maintain accurate monitoring documentation, analysis, trackers, and other work products, and provide timely information to support management and governance reporting. •Interface directly with Issues Management colleagues, GFCC process owners, Compliance colleagues, and other stakeholders to obtain information, communicate outstanding needs, and support timely completion of Issues Management activities. •Develop knowledge of financial crimes risk management, issue management requirements, and risk and control principles, applying feedback and coaching to strengthen analytical skills and take on increasingly complex assignments. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant coursework or experience in compliance, risk management, finance, business, data analytics, or a related field is preferred. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to review information, identify inconsistencies, and produce accurate, high-quality work. •Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, track deadlines, and proactively follow up with stakeholders to drive work to completion. •Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate questions, status, and potential concerns clearly. •Interest in developing knowledge of financial crimes risk management, including AML, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption, as well as issue management, risk and control concepts, and related systems and data. •Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions. •As part of Team Amex, you’ll experience our powerful backing with comprehensive support for your holistic well-being and many opportunities to learn new skills, develop as a leader, and grow your career.
