Required Skills: •Lead the development and advancement of joining, brazing, and furnace heat treatment technologies to support global gas turbine repair applications. •Develop, qualify, and implement new and improved processes in welding and brazing. •Partner with global Repairs Value Stream teams to identify technical needs and deliver process solutions that improve repair capability, quality, and productivity. •Drive process innovation from concept through validation, industrialization, and deployment. •Support and enhance capability for joining and welding platforms, including programming and process optimization. •Partner cross-functionally with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, repair engineering, quality, Design Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, and operations to ensure successful process integration. •Partner with other process teams to implement complementary special processes from a systems perspective, such as machining, surface prep, and automation technologies, that enhance joining technology and downstream performance and repeatability. •Develop technical documentation, process specifications, qualification plans, and standard work to support global adoption. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering. •Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in Welding, Brazing process development. •Masters Degree in Welding •Knowledge of special processes that complement joining technologies, such as machining, automation, or surface prep technologies. •Operational familiarity with repair processes and technologies used in gas turbine or aerospace industrial applications. •Proven ability to work across global teams and drive technical solutions in a collaborative environment. •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Deep technical curiosity and passion for advancing manufacturing and repair technology. •Demonstrated capacity to translate complex technical challenges into practical, scalable process solutions.
