Required Skills: •Works in a team manner with the Shift Supervisor assisting on the floor with set-up of equipment, preparing materials, properly entering product into Epicor and organizing the warehouse to ensure maximum operation of equipment as directed by the Production Supervisor and or Management. •Performs “Line Clearances” on the machine for job changes & sets up the necessary auxiliary equipment needed. •Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on auxiliary equipment, such as grinders, press hoppers, drying hoppers, conveyor belts and any other equipment as directed by Shift Supervisor, where applicable. •Prepares resin at proper drying temperatures according to procedure to include set-up and verification of drying equipment. •Manages press resin inventory. •Keeps color feeders along with Weigh Blenders supplied with resin colorants & additives as to not run out of product. •Ensures the proper mixture of resin, adding color concentrate and additives where necessary and cleaning the mixing bin, calculating resin mixture ratios, mixing material and regrind accordingly using material loading system. •Ensures the machines are loaded with material according to the production schedule (and visual verification) and replaces material as necessary. Qualifications: •High school degree or equivalent •Self-motivated to learn and perform job tasks to meet or exceed customer and company expectations. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and coordinate efforts with the overall shift goals established by the Supervisor. •Demonstrated capacity to work 12 hour shifts, as applicable. •Dayshift/nightshift schedule rotation every other month. •The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
