Job may be isolated to one job function and/or one account. •Provide support service to other Import Agent for import documentation General business support function as assigned. •Prepare import shipments for assigned customers. This may include customs clearance, shipping, labeling, and distribution of cargo. Generate delivery orders and shipping labels as needed. •Prepare export documents for distribution to brokerage department and/or Customers’ Broker •Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, steamship line and/or bonded facilities to obtain necessary information to process shipments in the best way. •Issue freight bills and invoices to brokers and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit term. •General business support function as assigned •Effectively communicate with customers, overseas agents and subcontractors. Qualifications: •At least one (1) year experience in an Export Role or similar industry experience •High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience. •Computer proficiency (MS Work, Excel, Lotus Notes, AS/400). •Some knowledge of general and Export Computer application technology desirable. •Some knowledge of international commerce (sales and payment term, method, customs regulations etc.) desirable. •Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications. •Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary. •Good teamwork skills and inclination. •Bilingual English/ Japanese a plus •Will work with all levels in the organization.
