Required Skills: •Serve as the primary point of contact for business teams throughout the entire engagement — from the first conversation through post-launch review. •Conduct structured discovery to understand the business problem, use case, data involved, and desired outcome before any product or vendor is evaluated. •Help ensure the right solution is identified — clarifying what is actually needed before any product or vendor evaluation begins. •Identify whether an existing approved tool already addresses the need, eliminating redundant spend and accelerating time to solution. •Validate that the proposed solution is fit for purpose before directing the Analyst to begin any submission work. •Advise requestors on whether a solution falls within existing approvals, requires a new submission, or has a preferred alternative already in place. •Receive the Engineer's post-implementation check-in and formally close the loop with the business team — confirming the solution is live, performing as expected, and that the engagement is complete. •Direct the work of the AI Governance Analyst and AI Governance Engineer — assigning requests, identifying priorities, and ensuring the team is focused on the right work at the right time. Qualifications: •Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional engagements with multiple competing stakeholders and priorities. •Operational familiarity with agile ways of working — sprint planning, stand-ups, backlogs, and iterative delivery in an operational context. •Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate between technical, legal, and business audiences without losing precision or trust. •Solid functional working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI capabilities, and the risk and compliance landscape around AI adoption — data privacy, model transparency, IP exposure, third-party risk. •Consultative by nature: you listen before you prescribe, and you care about getting the right outcome for the business, not just closing the ticket. •Operational familiarity with GenAI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001) or data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA). •Applied hands-on capability in enterprise AI platforms (Claude Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or similar). •Background in vendor risk assessment, third-party due diligence, or enterprise procurement. •IAPP AIGP, CIPP, CISSP, or equivalent certification is a plus. •The annual base salary range for this position is $164,450 - $200,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
