Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required. •Build, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications end to end, including the underlying APIs, databases, integrations, and deployment infrastructure •Design and implement AI-powered tools to automate tasks and workflows across Caruso Ventures, from data collection and analysis to communications and content creation •Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies (LLMs, agents, APIs, workflow tools) that enhance team productivity •Build custom dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility across investments, portfolio performance, and internal operations •Streamline key workflows such as event planning, CRM updates, and information management •Develop templates, automations, and internal documentation to ensure consistent execution •Collaborate across teams to identify bottlenecks and propose AI and software driven solutions Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related technical field. •Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar coding agents to build and deploy full-stack applications from initial concept through production. •Demonstrated capacity to understand, review, debug, and maintain AI-generated code, with working proficiency in TypeScript or Python, SQL, PostgreSQL/Supabase, relational data modeling, schema design and migrations, APIs, data pipelines, and modern full-stack application architecture. •Strong product judgement: capable of owning a problem from idea to deployment, balancing technical depth with user needs and operational impact. •Interest in startups, venture capital, and the evolving AI ecosystem. •Entrepreneurial and self-starting; eager to identify problems and build solutions. •Analytical and systems-oriented thinker who enjoys experimenting with new tools. •Detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through. •Excellent communicator, capable of translating technical ideas into clear language. •Adaptable, curious, and energized by working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
