Required Skills: •Help establish and execute the strategic direction for Agronomy and Innovation initiatives across the division, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and customer needs. •Lead and develop a high-performing agronomy enablement team through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and capability development. •Oversee the SGS MAP (Maximizing Agronomic Performance) program and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of agronomic innovation initiatives, including products, fertilizer programs, and digital agriculture technologies. •Drive scientific validation and field adoption of emerging technologies through research partnerships, field trials, and agronomic performance evaluations. •Develop and deliver advanced technical training that enhances agronomic expertise, consultative selling skills, and customer-focused solution development. •Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities, researchers, industry organizations, and private consultants to strengthen Simplot's technical leadership and industry influence. •Provide advanced technical guidance and oversight for crop claims, agronomic recommendations, and operational processes to ensure integrity, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation. •Partner with commercial leaders to identify opportunities that improve customer outcomes, drive sales growth, and support division objectives. Qualifications: •Master's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Plant Science, or related discipline required. •Equivalent combinations of education and significant industry experience may be considered.
