Hiring: Affordable Housing Finance Senior Consultant Company: Guidehouse Location: Greater Sacramento Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:25:36 About the job Required Skills: •Supporting affordable housing finance and program implementation engagements for public‑sector clients •Evaluating affordable housing development proposals, including 4% and 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects •Developing and analyzing project budgets, sources and uses, financial pro formas, and underwriting models •Conducting feasibility analyses, benefit‑cost analyses, and subsidy layering reviews •Assisting with transactions and project due diligence, including review of development, financing, closing package deliverables, land use, and regulatory documentation •Supporting client use of HOME, CDBG, ARPA, and other public funding sources •Researching and interpreting HUD regulations (24 CFR), Qualified Allocation Plans (QAPs), and program guidance •Developing supporting deliverables such as memos, reports, tools, templates, Standard Operating Procedures, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Qualifications: •Master’s degree in a related field •Certification or training in rental housing finance •Exposure to syndication, underwriting, or housing finance software systems •The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
