Required Skills: •Deliver expert oncology care including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and symptom management. •Manage acute and chronic conditions related to cancer and its treatments. •Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and manage oncology emergencies. •Provide care at satellite clinics with autonomy and physician collaboration. •Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and side effects. •Serve as a key liaison between patients, families, physicians, and clinic staff. •Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems. •Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews. Qualifications: •Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing program. •Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. •Current RN licensure and registration with the State Board of Nursing in Illinois. •Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. •Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification required. •1–3 years of post-MSN experience preferred, ideally in oncology or a related specialty. •Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. •Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). •Current state license as a Physician Assistant in Illinois. •1–3 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in oncology or a related specialty.
