Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programs. Required Skills: •Preparation of correspondence, student applications, and required reports. Maintain confidentiality of student records. •Participate in the formulation and implementation of the outreach plan. •Maintain ongoing outreach to agencies, schools, community programs and military recruiters by conducting presentations to individuals, student groups, communities, agencies, schools, and potential employers to foster interest in Job Corps and to generate referrals to the Job Corps program. •Screen qualified youth for entry into Job Corps according to procedures and criteria. Obtain additional information necessary to evaluate eligibility and suitability; complete application accurately, and when necessary, submit to the San Francisco Regional Office for approval. •Notify applicants of acceptance (disapproval) and assignment. Prepare students for arrival to Job Corps. •Assist the Outreach Coordinator with hosting live Center tours to the public. •Assist the Outreach Coordinator with hosting on-line Center tours to the public. •Conduct three necessary interviews with each applicant.
