Required Skills: •The Center for Computational Neuroscience (CCN) is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator to support the growing financial and administrative operations of the Center in a collaborative environment. •This is a full-time position based at the Simons Foundation’s New York City offices. Employees are expected to work on-site four days per week and may occasionally be required to work on-site five days per week. Visit the Simons Foundation’s careers page to learn more. •Serve as a primary point of contact for guests and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. •Provide administrative support to CCN’s scientific leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports and assisting with other tasks as needed. •Support CCN’s scientific programming, including seminars, workshops and group lab meetings. Responsibilities may include coordinating with organizers and speakers, arranging travel, processing reimbursements, managing calendars, and ordering catering. •Update and maintain the center’s website, databases, publications, mailing lists, and event information. •Proactively coordinate internal and external CCN activities, including scheduling appointments and arranging travel for conference participation, in partnership with the Events team. •Perform any other duties as assigned.
