Hiring: AD, EHS Compliance Central Programs Company: Chewy Location: Lewisberry, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:34:51 Target Skills & Keywords : Risk Management About the job Experience: •10+ years of progressive EHS experience with demonstrated people leadership and team development in a multi-site environment Required Skills: •Lead, develop, and grow a team of Senior Program Managers serving as EHS technical SMEs across EHS Launch & Equipment Safety, M&R EHS, EHS Data & Systems, Injury Prevention/Ergonomics, and Program & Policy Governance; set performance expectations, provide coaching, and build a high-performing team •Own EHS Compliance and Governance for the Fulfillment Network; define, apply, and defend occupational safety compliance requirements across all sites, including annual OSHA 300 log maintenance, 300A posting, and electronic submission to OSHA •Partner with Legal and site stakeholders to prepare for, coordinate, and respond to regulatory agency inspections, investigations, and enforcement activity; serve as the primary EHS point of contact for regulatory visits •Monitor the evolving Local, State, and Federal regulatory landscape; assess operational impact, identify compliance gaps, and drive required program and policy changes across the network •Maintain EHS central programs and policies, ensuring all standards are current, operationally relevant, and consistently applied; own the policy governance lifecycle from development through network-wide rollout •Partner with Operations, Engineering, Construction, and Procurement leadership to embed EHS requirements into capital projects, equipment programs, and business processes across the network •Manage headcount planning, hiring, and development across the Central Programs team; build organizational depth and succession readiness •Assist the Director of EHS with governance processes, cross-functional alignment, and reporting on compliance posture, program performance, and regulatory risk Qualifications: •Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field — strongly preferred •Additional certifications such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CPE (Certified Professional Ergonomist) •Operational familiarity with EHS management platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, VelocityEHS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) •Demonstrated capacity to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy •The base salary range for this role is $137,500 - $221,500.00. •The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus. •Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
