This position will execute either the GAAP or Statutory/Tax valuation processes of designated lines of business. •This position reports to the Actuary, Actuarial Valuation or Sr. Associate Actuary. •Monthly production of reserves under the following bases: GAAP or Statutory/Tax •Develop information for preparation, review and analysis of reserve movements •Maintenance/enhancement and timely execution of valuation controls •Assist in maintenance of the valuation programs for new products, new regulations, etc. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related technical field •Successful completion of five ASA examination requirements •Minimum of one year of related actuarial experience •Strong technical, analytical, organizational, computer, and team skills •Exposure to GGY-AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software preferred •Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and displays a high energy level •Team player who has the ability to function as a key member of a small group •High degree of ownership for their areas of responsibility •Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) •Demonstrated capacity to learn and utilize actuarial software systems Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
