Required Skills: •Contributing to the technical aspects of projects that develop new intracardiac echo products including algorithms and transducers, the Acoustic Engineer will conduct advanced development activities to create innovative technology to improve image guided therapy delivery in the structural heart disease space. •Participate in design, development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities: including development plans, algorithm design and specification, integration strategy, 3D intracardiac echo transducer technology, and SW implementation. •Tune intracardiac echo ultrasound systems for optimum image quality and imaging features. •Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product Management organizations to define new cardiac imaging feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs. •You're The Right Fit If •You have 5+ years of experience with ultrasound signal and image processing, filter design; linear and nonlinear wave propagation is preferred. •Knowledge of clinical applications of cardiac ultrasound. •Proficiency in Python, Matlab and C++ programming languages; experience with acoustic simulation software. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
