Hiring: Accounting Manager, GL Operations & Intercompany Company: Coinbase Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:18:33 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : SQL, Snowflake About the job Experience: •CPA with 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years managing direct reports, with public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred). •Managed end-to-end month-end close processes across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting. •Led multi-entity intercompany accounting processes such as eliminations, FX revaluation, or global consolidations. •Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools (Snowflake, Looker, or similar) and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), ideally in a fintech or crypto environment. •Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency and quality. Required Skills: •Own end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close processes across global entities, ensuring timely, accurate general ledger reporting and consolidated financial statements. •Lead global intercompany operations including billing, cash settlements, transfer pricing execution, foreign exchange gain/loss analysis, and elimination entries. •Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to operationalize new intercompany agreements, entity launches, and transfer pricing methodologies into scalable processes. •Strategically drive design, implementation, and documentation of SOX-compliant internal controls across GL operations and intercompany processes. •Execute strategic GL projects including M&A integration, new entity set-ups, and ERP enhancements in NetSuite. •Strengthen team capability by mentoring and developing direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with applied knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 implementation and documentation.
