Hiring: 3rd Shift Forklift OPR Caseyville IL Company: Tyson Foods Location: Caseyville, IL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:34:58 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly About the job Required Skills: •This position is responsible for ensuring materials are moved/transported throughout the facility as necessary. •Move product as directed using pallet jacks, forklifts or other means. •Reading/reviews work orders and follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved, counted, weighed, put away and recorded. •Safely opens containers, using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer or other hand tools. •Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools. •Cleans work area, machines and equipment, using broom, rags and other products. •Updates database records as required; participate in all department and company training sessions and meetings. •Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations. Qualifications: •The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation •Must be willing and able to stand, walk, bend, twist, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach. •Must be willing and able to lift, push, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. in many areas of production. •Demonstrated capacity to safely operate foot and hand controls with good hand-eye coordination. •Demonstrated capacity to sit for extended periods while operating equipment and frequently twist/turns to check surroundings. •Demonstrated capacity to repeatedly climb in and out of forklift equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to maintain the level of awareness necessary to safely operate a forklift around people, equipment, and moving vehicles, with or without reasonable accommodation •Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as needed. •Applicants must show six (6) months of forklift experience at one employer in the past 36 months.
