Required Skills: •JBS is seeking an hourlyMaintenance Tech 1st Shift Team Member! Position starts at $28-$40 per hour based on experience. •Medical, dental and vision benefits •Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment. •Inspect, maintain repair and overhaul electromechanical and solid-state electrical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment. •Provides maintenance services ensuring that all equipment is in good repair and in a safe operating condition •Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards. •Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems for Project facilities and production equipment. •Perform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations. Qualifications: •Industrial / commercial electrical background with high-speed production line experience. •Demonstrated capacity to read blueprints, layout, install & maintain a wide variety of new and existing electrical equipment and processes troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing & electrical controls •Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and conditions. •Must be able to provide the required tools at personal expense. •Must be able to use multi meter accurately and safely. •Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage switchgear, protective relaying, grounding procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, safety procedures, and electrical test equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to work unscheduled hours during emergencies and/or unusual situations (24 hours/ 7 days week when needed). •Knowledge of computer software/hardware with basic programming is highly desirable. •ACTIVITIES: Very active position, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day •HEARING: Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
